Old Manchester Golf Club was Founded in 1888 & therefore among one of the Oldest Courses in Britain.In its 60+ year History it occupied 3 different Grounds,all in the same location close to the River Irwell in Manchester,not far from the City Centre. Published by A.H.& S,M. (Manchester?)the card is in Near Mint Unused Condition & is one of a set of around 6 I believe.The Club Published A History in 1888 which is now difficult to find.The Club ceased to be in the early 1960s when the Council refused to renew the lease,although there is still A membership who still play for some of the Old Trophies at various venues around Manchester.
