Seaford Downs Golf Links was the Club's first Golf course which they occupied from around 1885 onwards until the New Links were built in 1907 at the Blatchington location. Both images show the early first Links, but the second image, with the tall white building, is what used to be a shepherds Cottage in 1888, by 1900 it was the Club's first Pavilion. This is fully explained in the book, Seaford Golf Club, A History published in 1986 on the occasion of the Club's Centenary. This card is in pristine MINT unposted condition & was published by The Terminus Fancy Emporium, Seaford. You can see that there are additional buildings around image 1 that are not present on the earlier image 2. A superb card.                                    Ref.2435
