Long Ashton Golf Pavilion C.1910-14, there is no publisher name on this card so I presume it is the work of a local photographer given the early date of it. There is what appears to be a Boy caddie stood just to the left of the Pavilion, looking out. The Golf Club was Founded in1893 & started as a nine-hole course, by 1905 additional land had been acquired to be able to extend the course to 18 holes. In 1937 Hawtree & Taylor were commissioned to advise & plan the course which is mainly as it is today. As well as holding a number of high profile Tournaments over the years, a good deal of excellent Golfers have been produced by the Club.
The card image is in Very Good condition, although the reverse has suffered some age darkening & a few foxing spots. I have never seen this card before in over twelve years of collecting. This card would be a must for any serious Golf postcard collector.
