Killermont Golf Club entrance C.1905-10 an original vintage postcard, published by Wm.Richie & Sons, Ltd., in their Reliable Series without a number, as some early cards were. The Club is probably better known today as Glasgow Golf Club, the name it changed to after leaving the Blackhill location in 1904. Originally founded in 1787 at Blackhill in Glasgow. In 1903 Tom Morris laid out the new course at Killermont ready for the opening in 1904. The card is one of 5/6 from the same series I have listed, all in the same stunning MINT unused condition. These cards coincide with the opening of the new course at Killermont. I also have cards from the Original Blackhill Club listed.                          Ref.1271
