Glasgow  & Southwestern Railway postcard C.1908-14 published by Raphael Tuck & Sons. With the importance of railways to the development of Golf in the early part of the 20th century this Ad card highlights 3 Southern Scottish Railway hotels, The Station Hotel, Dumfries, The Station Hotel Ayr & St Enoch Station Hotel Glasgow, there is a footnote referring to the New purpose built Hotel at Turnberry to provide a service to Golfers to get to the Newly completed  Golf Links. The card is in Near mint unposted condition with just a little age darkening to the reverse, there were

already 2 courses open in Dumfries at this point & more in Glasgow.
