Deauville Les Links du Golf founded in 1899 was one of the 1st courses in France initiated by French Golfers, this is an important card in this Club's History as the Club disappeared after WW2., destroyed by German Troops,  a new course was inaugurated in 1929., designed by Tom Simpson the British Golf Architect. This course also closed, this time due to WW2, eventually becoming a horse racing course after the War. A third club formed in 1964, designed by British Open champion Golfer Henry Cotton. This card, published by Louis Levy, Paris, is in MINT unposted condition, slightly age-toned.  This is the only card I have ever seen of the original course.                                                                                 Ref.2698
