Cromer (Royal) Golf Pavilion Men's & Ladies C.1902-04 published in the Peacock Brand, the fashion in postcards between 1902-04 was to have an undivided Back, with only the address written on it, the message had to be written on the face of the card as this one illustrates, this fashion only lasted around 2 years & returned to the previous practice. This card is in Very Good + posted condition, postmarked 1904. Cromer was founded in 1888 & both the original 9 hole Links & later 18 hole Links were designed by Old Tom Morris. If you have never played the course, it sits on the top of the North East Norfolk Cliffs. A nice early card for the collector.                     Ref.1016
