Ref.2729 Bobby Jones an American Amateur Golfer who won the 1st ever Golf Grand Slam

in 1930 as an Amateur, after which he retired from competitive Golf & set about assisting with the Development of the Augusta National Golf Club in Georga.


Ref.2777 Northamptonshire County Golf Club House (Church Brampton) The Club was founded in1909. The card was published by W. Lees, Northampton, I am guessing this is not the 1st Club House so is probably 1915 or later.


Ref.2731 Blackpool North Shore Golf Club House C.1910 & the First ever British Aviation Carnival attended by 11 International Pilots, the Wright Brothers also but were not competing. Ref.2807 Chislehurst Golf Club House & Late Residence of the Empress Eugnie., wife of Napoleon the 3rd &Empress of France. C.pre 1907 a Rare Wrench Series Postcard No.8260 this card was produced between 1902-1906 & by the time it was posted the Company was already out of business.


Ref.2719 A RARE Caldy Golf Pavilion, Wirral, Cheshire. The Club was founded in 1907 so I think that this image could well be their 1st Pavilion, handwritten titles, some drawing Pin damage but unposted, the Dress is obviously early. A rare card.

The 18th hole is a longish 4 in which you have to carry the Scoonie Burn all the way with your approach shot.£13.95.

Ref.1948a Milford Golf Links, Surrey. Published by W. Shaw, Burslem. A card in superb condition other than that I cannot find much information about it so far, not even its foundation date.
